Description

The successful candidate will be placed within the Human Resources Department, based on operational requirements and the graduate’s qualification background. The role will provide exposure to core HR functions across the business. The graduate will mainly support Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development, and Performance Management processes, while gaining hands‑on experience in the utilisation of HR systems and HR administration. Structured training and mentorship will form part of the Graduate Placement Programme.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with recruitment and selection processes, including screening CVs, coordinating interviews, and maintaining recruitment records
• Supporting onboarding activities and general HR administration
• Assisting with training and development coordination, including training records and skills development administration
• Supporting performance management processes, including documentation, tracking, and reporting
• Capturing, updating, and maintaining employee information on HR systems
• Assisting with adhoc HR reports and projects
• Supporting compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
• Assisting with employee communication and HR query management
• Providing general administrative and operational support to the HR team
• Participating in structured training, mentorship, and assessments as part of the graduate programme

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12
• A University Degree obtained in 2024 or 2025 in a relevant field (e.g. Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations, or related)
• Strong interest in Human Resources and people‑focused work
• Computer literacy (MS Excel, MS Word, etc)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
